Fish Feeding

There was a place in Darwin where you may feed some fish it is called the fish feeding. There is some big fish called milkfish and some little fish called mullet. One fish when I was feeding him some bread came up and sucked up to my knuckles.

Litchfield

Litchfield is a national park with lots of native animals and huge termite mounds. One was bigger than a car and there was some termites fixing one of the entrances. Some were grey magnetic mounds, they all face the same direction.

Boulie Rockholes

Boulie Rockholes was one of my favourite places near Darwin. There were some little waterfalls that we slid down (and it was fun). We also climbed up onto some high rocks and jumped off them into the water where there was no rocks below.

Museum

In the museum there were lots of animals and a big skeleton of a 5 metre crocodile. There were some bugs on needles from Darwin. There was a part about cyclone Tracey. There was a film clip about how much damage it did. There were some pictures about how the city looked after the cyclone. We went into a dark room and heard all the sounds cyclone Tracey made. We also saw a new spider exhibition. There were some tarantulas about 12 centimetres.  spider4.wmf (14820 bytes)

Jumping Crocs

On the jumping crocodile cruise we saw lots of crocodiles snatching the meat from the stick. There was one called Marrakai that was 4 ½ metres long. There was one called Snaggletooth who came up onto the mud so we could see him all and how big he was.

New Bear

Mum and Dad went to Casurina shops and bought a new beanie kid for me. He is orange and black and his name is Jaffa. I also have got another one and his name is Ruby the red bear. wpe4.jpg (1917 bytes)

Howard Springs

In Howard Springs there was a big rockhole with huge Barramundi (nearly a metre long). You can swim with them if you like. You may also go down and touch them as they are tame. wpe5.jpg (1017 bytes)

Berry Springs

Berry springs is a nice place where you can have lunch. We saw a huge Goanna and went for a swim. There was a little waterfall Dad took me under it (I did not like it much). Then I went up to where the waterfall was rushing down from and nearly fell down the waterfall it was the warmest water I ever felt and I saw some little fish in there. Then it got really deep.

Wangi rock hole

In Wangi rock hole there is a huge waterfall that you can’t go under otherwise you’ll get pushed under. There is another littler one that people don’t like much. There is a huge rock that you can climb and underneath is the water and near the little waterfall is a big hole in the rock like a sauna.

I hope you liked my web site and I hope you go to the Northern Territory because it is a really good place. (I hope you don’t get eaten by a crocodile).
